The Rainbow Haven supports asylum seekers and other destitute people.

Based at
St Paul and St Johns United Reformed Church, Gorton, the Rainbow Haven collects non-perishable foodstuffs for distribution to those who cannot afford these theselves. Also on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the site on Abbey Hey Lane and now on Wednesdays in Salford a hot meal is provided.

Typical foodstuffs for distribution include;

  • rice
  • pasta
  • tomatoo puree
  • tuna
  • uht milk
  • tinned foods generally
  • onions
  • carrots
  • potatoes
  • biscuits


No frozen goods please.
