The Boaz Trust is a Christian organisation and a registered charity serving destitute asylum seekers in the North West of England. It aims, primarily through the Church, to provide accommodation for those who are homeless, and works with the Red Cross, Refugee Action and other groups to set up Destitution Projects providing food and other essentials.

In the last 12 months prices of basic foods - those essentials needed by the completely destitute - has risen by 50%, and the numbers of destitute asylum seekers has increased.

Bacause of these changes, recipients of Red Cross food parcels will have to be given notice that this will no longer be available. The Boaz Trust is committed to funding its clients when this happens.
