The Faith Network for Manchester aims are to bring together people of different faith groups across the city to speak to issues of regeneration, to act as a means of communication between faith groups and be a resource to address issues of common concern, and to participate in the Community Network and Local Strategic Planning structure.
It is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union.
It includes work with Young People on a multi-faith basis under the title of FYM (Faith Youth Manchester) which is funded by the Government's Faith Communities Capacity Building Fund and Manchester City Council's Youth Opportunities Fund, Their first event, under the title 'co-exist' was planned and organised by five Peer Youth Workers from the Christian, Jewish, Muslim and Buddhist communities.
