An invitation to support a Christian pastor imprisoned in the Congo
Pastor Maluta of the Congolese church `MERESA’ (Mission Evangelique de la Recuperation et Encadrement pour le salut des Ames) and Manchester christians invite you to pray for Pastor Kutino, who is in prison in Congo,
Pastor Maluta led a non-violent popular movement, `Sauvons le Congo’, which worked to help the people of Congo to discover their own power and insist that the government act to end their suffering. On returning to Congo from exile abroad, He was imprisoned after a trial which Amnesty International condemned as “flagrantly unfair’’.
Please pray for him and campaign for his release.
