About Us

the Church decorated with butterflies for Easter 2008

The Church decorated with butterflies - a symbol of resurrection - for Easter 2008.
The butterflies were made by a variety of groups including children at Oswald Road Primary School.

Chorlton Central's weekly services are at 10.45 am every Sunday; on the third Sunday of every month this includes Communion.

Children have their own groups during part of the service and are also encouraged to take an active role in worship. Children's activities are shared with Trinity United Church, Moss Side and alternate between the two Churches. Children are welcome to take communion, if their parents wish.

On the second Sunday in the month at 6.30 pm there is an informal service in the lounge of McLaren Court, a sheltered housing scheme for the elderly, at the junction of Sibson Road and Barlow Moor road.

Trade Justice

A Traidcraft stall, selling fairly traded goods supplied by Traidcraft, is available from time to time following the Sunday service. Click on the logo to visit the Traidcraft website.
